Journal of Mycopathological Research, which started publication in 1955, is one of the oldest in India, dealing with the specific topic of Mycology and Plant Pathology. It is a peer reviewed, refereed, International Journal open to contributions of merit dealing with all aspects related to the subject. It is one of the few journals dealing with the specific subject being published from India. It has a good coverage and publishes research papers regularly from all over India and abroad. It is a quarterly journal with both online and print editions. This journal is NAAS rated (Score : 5.11), Follows UGC suggestive parameters for peer reviewed journals. Abstracted/ Indexed in: CAB Abstracts, Indian Science Abstracts, Biological Abstracts, Indian Citation Index (ICI), Google Scholar and Global Health databases.

Aims and Scope

The main aim of the Journal is to provide a suitable platform for scientists, faculty members and research scholars to publish their research work which would give good visibility globally. Researchers working in various branches related to Mycology and Plant Pathology such as basic and experimental mycology, plant pathology, virology, bacteriology, biotechnology, agriculture and allied disciplines are encouraged to publish here. The main chunk of papers are from India. This is the only journal on this topic from Eastern India. The Eastern and North-Eastern scientists and researchers are really benefitted by this publication.

Open Access Policy

The Journal of Mycopathological Research (JMPR) provides an open access to its contents following the principle of allowing free access to interested research scientists. This provides greater scope of exchange of knowledge globally. Archives of research papers published since the beginning of the publication of this Journal in 1955 to till date is also free for everyone to read and download.

There is no submission fee but only a minimum paper processing charge.
